Best Kept Secret is a full-service production company founded by twelve-time Emmy Award-nominated and two-time Peabody-winning producer John Skidmore. The company offers producing & production company services across all types of productions - scripted, talk, stand up, and variety series & specials.
Skidmore was a founding partner/COO of Jax Media where he led corporate operations and oversaw the full slate of productions that spanned the United States, France, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Hungary, China, Israel, and Poland.
He also served as Head of Production for Imagine Entertainment.
His credits include hit stand-up specials and critically-acclaimed series such as Russian Doll, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Search Party, Broad City, Sarah Silverman: Postmortem, Mike Birbiglia: The Good Life, John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City, and Chris Rock: Tamborine.
